London visit December 2025
Thought I’d share a few photos of a terrific two-night trip to London.
I had lunch with my wonderful editor Maisie Lawrence at Andrew Edmunds restaurant in Soho. In the evening, a trip to the theatre for a production of John Le Carre’s The Spy Who Came in from the Cold (which was immense).
Tuesday enjoyed meeting up with my editorial and marketing team at Amazon Publishing HQ in Shoreditch, along with meeting some great authors. And off to Quo Vadis, Dean Street, Soho for an amazing dinner.
Have a great Festive season.
All best,
J.B. Turner

Well it look like the Gods were smiling down on you re the weather!! It certainly seems a whirlwind trlp. I have to say I am intrigued as to how “the spy who came in from the cold” was performed on stage!! Obviously excellent.
Have a wonderful festive season and I look forward to whatever you will be writing next.
All best wishes
Priscilla
The Monday night turned into a torrential downpour, but apart from that, the Gods were smiling down. The Spy who came in from Cold was sensational production. Loved it. Packed house at Soho Place too. Best for you and your family for the festive season, JB

Great pic’s JB, you were just 20 miles from my house.

Wow you were busy! So glad you had a good time as it’s a long flight for just a couple of days.
I hope you received a warm welcome in London.
Wishing you and your family a Happy Christmas 🎄.
As usual I can’t wait to read the next Reznick novel ! Not long to wait now for Hard Sun.
Thanks for taking the time to contact me, Sheila. Had a great time. Fantastic city. Not long until HARD SUN, December 16. Merry Christmas to you and your family. Best,J.B.
So glad you enjoyed your trip to my home town. I’m an Eastender by birth so maybe next time you visit the ‘smoke’ try and schedule some time to visit the ‘other side of town’; Covent Garden, Spitalfields, Leadenhall Market. I’m a not so sprightly 70+ old dear who gets totally engrossed in Reznik’s adventures, so much so that my mind transports me to the days when characters like him frequented the darker side of the East End. So looking forward to snuggling down with Reznik over Christmas. Aaah. Happy Christmas to you and yours JB.
Chrissie, Thank you so much for getting in touch. On your advice, the next time I’m in London, I’ll spend a bit more time on the ‘other side of town’. I was across in Shoreditch which was the furthest east I went. But I’ll be sure to head out your side of the city during my next visit. Glad you’re enjoying the Reznick adventures. Next one, HARD SUN, out 16 December, just in time for Christmas. Best to you and yours this Christmas, JB
I’m a new reader of your books and love it. I purchased books 1 – 14. Have there been any after 14? I’m on book 3. I’m on the go constantly with appointments and your books are on my Kindle. The reading calms me, but I have to keep reading because they are exciting.
Hi Georgia, Thanks so much for taking the time to contact me. Appreciate your lovely comments about the Jon Reznick series. So the next book, the 15th Reznick thriller, HARD SUN, is on preorder right now on Amazon. It’s out 16 December 2025. Nice to be in touch. Best, JB
I can’t wait for my copy of Hard Sun to be delivered. Eagerly awaiting it!
Thanks so much, Lorna. Much appreciated. Hard Sun out 16 December. Reznick in Mallorca. Best, JB
