“Turner has written a book which combines the paranoid conspiracy of Three Days of the Condor with the relentless action of the Reacher thrillers.”

Hard Target
A threat inside the government. A whistleblower’s life on the line. It’s up to Jon Reznick to bring justice.
J.B. Turner's protagonist, Jon Reznick, is a loyal guy and once pointed in a direction he's taken seriously, little dissuades him. A former CIA bureau chief turned private security contractor for the highest elements in the U.S. government figures that out quickly. Reznick's buddy, former NSA cyber-security specialist Trevelle Williams, finds himself in the crosshairs of what appears to be a professional hit. He's stumbled across some documents supplied by European hackers that bring nothing but trouble. He fortuitously chooses to eat a late night meal at a nearby diner when his security cameras turn up a team in his highly protected home. A friend staying the night is killed, and Williams knows he's got no other option than to run. His first call is to Reznick, who understandably agrees that Williams is in trouble. Turner doesn't mess around. The plot immediately thickens when Williams decodes the data he's been given. It's a black ops document from the Joint Chiefs to eliminate a woman. She's not just anybody, an FBI agent forensically investigating Pentagon expenses. What she has found horrifies her and those who learn of her work. Reznick works as a consultant to the FBI, and he logically offers to help Williams turn himself in for protection. However, in this case it just doesn't compute. There are too many loose ends. Too many ways for the system to roll over the whistleblowers. Reznick must try to unfold the mystery while trying to save to lives of those threatened by unknown forces. All the while, he's chosen to be at odds with his contacts at the bureau. There's a lot that unfolds, and Turner tells the story through each party. Especially fascinating is his description and thought process of the man who will stop at nothing to eliminate the threat to his patrons. This is a guy who believes he's fully patriotic, a believer in the U.S. world view. He goes to church and leaves refreshed, knowing full well Jesus never said, "Some must die so others can continue to siphon off funds from the government."

I am an avid reader, and J. B. Turner ranks at the top of my list of fiction writers. I am excited about reading all his books. Some of my favorite authors are Brad Thor, M.L. Banner, Jack Carr, Matthew Reilly, James Rollins, Kyla Stone, Dean Koontz, and Logan Ryles. His writing is so outstanding that I am burning through a new book in the Jon Reznick series every 2 days. I just finished number 8 and can hardly wait to start on number nine. What a thrilling ride in each story. The characters are complex and there is always an action packed finale.

Hard Vengeance
When the people he loves most are in danger, Jon Reznick will get revenge…or die trying.
Like a Lee Child novel, I crave disappearing into the world Turner creates. It's not pleasant. Reznick deals in loss, suffering and payback. It's the latter that gets me turning the pages. And in this case, I read it all in nearly one sitting. Being a high school librarian without kids is pretty uneventful. Next week, we get some kids back. In the meantime, I graciously let Turner's prose thrum through my brain. He's just got a way with storytelling. In Vengeance, the antagonist is front and center. He's a hunter, and he wants Reznick. Turner describes his exploits, juxtaposing the thoughts of a definite but brilliant psychopath with Reznick's efforts to uncover what happened. He's a step ahead, while Reznick's got to deal with Mallorca's Civil Guard and a mixture of U.S. officials who want him nowhere near the investigation. In fact, all of them say it was an accident. Then people start dying, and only Reznick can cut through the haze.

Then he is directed to an enforcer of the mob, which brings him to Bill's gambling debts. Meanwhile, the FBI is working a deal to get a big Mafia informant into witness protection. If her true identity is as Muller suspects and if he divulges her secret, it could be dangerous for her and her loved ones, not to mention disastrous for national security.

Hard Power
Hard Power—the follow-up to the electric Hard Exit—is a riveting new thriller from bestselling author J. B. Turner.
When Amy Chang, partner of NSA hacker Trevelle Williams—a friend of Jon Reznick—is found dead on a Manhattan subway, everyone says it was a suicide. But Trevelle knows that someone had been watching Amy’s every move, and he isn’t about to let them slip away.
Trevelle calls on Jon Reznick to help him uncover what happened to Amy and protect Amy’s brother, Kevin Chang, a Hong Kong student-activist living in New York. Before long, two government organizations are hunting them, forcing the trio to go on the run. Will Reznick be able to pull himself out of another mess, or have things finally gone too far?
As his pursuers close in, Reznick reaches out to Martha Meyerstein, FBI assistant director, for help—but with so many political forces at play, people are not always who they seem to be. With friends’ lives on the line, Reznick will have to summon all his black-ops skills, tradecraft, and killer instincts to keep both Trevelle and Kevin alive…but he might have to sacrifice his own life to do it.
Author J.B. Turner turns up the adrenaline and consequences for Jon Reznick's thriller "Hard Power." The intensity begins immediately when Reznick's despondent buddy Trevelle calls him and says his girlfriend has been murdered, pushed into the path of a subway train in New York. Trevelle wants answers. The pair meet up and go see the girlfriend's brother, Kevin. But when they arrive at his apartment, Kevin is on his knees with a gun pointed at his head. Reznick does what he's been trained to do. He takes out the threat, secures the victim and removes any further threat, killing two others who draw on him on the way out of the apartment building. Turns out the kill team was Chinese and two had diplomatic papers. Reznick is vilified. He's considered to have gone rogue. Martha Meyerstein, who normally provides his cover as ranking executive of the FBI, abandons him. He's gone too far this time. But Reznick has his moral compass. He supports residents of the United States even if they just have a green card and happen to have supported democracy in Hong Kong. He can't be intimidated even by well-meaning members of his own country. The narrative is especially explosive and entertaining. After spending two months on my previous book, which was a beast size-wise, this one only took a couple days.

Hard Duty
From bestselling author J.B. Turner comes a deadly mission for Jon Reznick – but when the target is a master of disinformation, finding him might be harder than killing him.
Black-ops specialist Jon Reznick is hoping for some well-earned downtime under the Florida sun when he gets a surprise call from the CIA. An embittered US counterintelligence expert is about to sell a career’s worth of state secrets to the Russians and the Agency wants Reznick to track him down.
With the spook holed up somewhere in the diplomatic cauldron of the Middle East, protected by highly trained Russian mercenaries, Reznick knows it’s almost certainly a suicide mission. But with tough-man Scot Mac McCafferty and cybersecurity genius Trevelle Williams to back him up, patriot Reznick is soon racing across the region in pursuit of the target.
Time is ticking and death is a strong possibility, but with stakes this high, for Jon Reznick there are no rules that can’t be broken . . . and failure is never an option.
This was, incredibly, a tremendous story! I finished it in record time. Getting towards the end I had to stop reading for a while because my heart was beating SO FAST!!! Love Mac! He is “larger than life” and didn’t need convincing to do the right thing! I’m so glad he made it! I also love the mix of our current state of affairs popping up in the mix! Great job putting conservative values into the storyline! We need everyone to remember what is worth fighting for! America! Thank you JB. I can’t believe how great a story teller you are. Facts and figures but never boredom! That’s for sure!

The introduction was worth 5 stars, and there were no chapters after that to reduce the 5 star rating. This book has a great plot, great pacing (it flowed without fits and starts), great characters both good and bad, great attention to detail, and a great ending. Other than that I didn't care much for the book. This is book 13 of a series, and every one of those books are great as well. These books should carry a warning, "Do not start reading this book in the afternoon unless you don't plan to sleep tonight"! All these books are available in a audio-book format, great for long trips. Thank you for the great hours of enjoyment J. B. Turner!

Wow, what a ride. Character Jon Reznick is a no nonsense boot kicking man of justice. He operates like he is the Hand of God's right hand man kicking down doors and doesn't care about names.
J. B. Turner's Hard Lights , (Jon Reznick Thriller Book 14 is filled with whodunit, fast paced actions and mouth dropping reveals. The plot thickens and unfolds throughout the pages and does not disappoint.
This Jon Reznick Thriller Book 14 reads like a two-part special episode of the television series Bosch. The plot could also be ripped from world headlines as well.
A good read. Looking forward to more exciting Jon Reznick thrillers.
Hard Lights, Book 14 is a great addition to the Jon Reznick Thriller series.

Another very entertaining head-knocking, butt-kicking, bullet-dodging adventure with the almost Superman of truth, justice, and the American way, Jon Reznick. Book 14 of the Jon Reznick Thriller series by author J.B. Turner is everything you love about the series. If you are a newbie, just remember, Jon can not fly!
OK, enough about Reznick. In Book 14, "Hard Lights," Jon uncovers a sinister group of wealthy individuals that have let their money and wicked desires exceed all boundaries of decency. Sex, drugs, and cold, bloodied killings go hand in hand in their world.. The brutal death of a former Delta Force buddy and his missing daughter set the stage for an all-out war with these sleaze bags. You do not want to miss reading 'Hard Lights' by J.B. Turner. There is an excellent audible book performed by the very familiar voice of Jeffrey Kafer that I highly recommend.

Hard Sun
One sniper. One plan. Zero margin for error.
Jon Reznick doesn’t trust the CIA—but when operative Daniel Black shows up near his home in Maine, he listens. A high-value target has been taken out by a sniper in Mallorca. The kill was clean. Professional. And just the beginning.
Reznick is sent in under deep cover to hunt for the assassin and retrieve a cache of Cold War–era surveillance tapes—evidence so explosive it could bring down presidents. As bodies begin to fall and the sniper’s true mission comes into focus, Reznick realizes the stakes are far higher than anyone imagined.
Because this isn’t just a hit. It’s the opening move in something far more devastating—and time is running out to stop it.
Jon gets pulled into a total S show operation in Spain. Crime solving is not his thing but that’s what the CIA wants him to do. Can Reznick pull another rabbit out of his hat? Yes, the one that says “Retired” on the front …. The Audible read-along by Jeffrey Kaper is fantastic as usual, and it adds greatly to the drama of this story !! A+

J.B. Turner's Jon Reznick is not well liked at any of the U.S. intelligence agencies. But his reputation can't be ignored. He gets results. CIA handler Daniel Black gives Reznick a call to start "Hard Sun," the author's 15th installment of the ex-Delta operative and sometime assassin. His request initially falls flat. Reznick wants no part of whatever's going on in Spain. Black's lack of detail and intelligence on the operation doesn't sit well. Yet, Trevelle, Reznick's buddy and computer hacking phenom, comes as part of the offer, and that makes a difference. Normally, the CIA would send in a team. But large groups of spies don't cast the proper optics. Reznick knows he's there because his government wants deniability. Reznick's job is to track down the killer of a Franco-era security chief. The murdered man apparently had a trove of intelligence dating back decades, documents and recorded media, that could pose huge ramifications to worldwide clandestine operations. Turner's novels often feel like mysteries cloaked in a thriller genre. Reznick is a killer, but he's also a detective, trying to sort out all the clues and piece together a picture of what happened. Turner is at the top of his game with this novel, giving the reader an idea of how nice it would be to spend some time in Mallorca while also spending time discussing Spain's fascist history. I ended up watching a couple of YouTube videos, one of Nixon visiting Franco, then an elderly man, and another of Nixon talking about the greatest political presidents in an interview long after he left office.

Gone Bad (novella)
A fast and furious thriller for fans of Lee Child, Vince Flynn and Brad Thor.
"If you like your stories hard and relentlessly tense, this is one for you. Reznick is a good guy with a very bad attitude, and once he's on the scent, goes through anything and anybody to do his job."
